The National Law University Delhi has issued a notification about counselling of foreign nationals and OCI/PIO category for the BALLB (Hons) programme, and today, July 25, is the last date for submitting documents.
The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has said that it has earmarked 10 seats for Foreign National Category (5 seats for Foreign Nationals & 5 seats for OCI/PIO) to be filled on the basis of academic merit
of the qualifying exam.
The candidates are required to upload the following self-attested documents latest by July 25, 2022, at https://forms.gle/cJfC1MBHKFd7LhKU7 in order to participate in the counselling process for the admission under the Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO Category.
The documents required are:
- Marksheet of Class XII or equivalent examination. Statement of marks downloaded from Digi Locker will also be accepted.
- Copy of the Passport
- Copy of OCI/PIO card (if applicable)
- Equivalence Certificate (if available)
- Online Application Form Number
"The marks statement/documents and counselling fee received after July 25, 2022, will not be entertained. Counselling Fee of INR 1,00,000.00 (Rupees One Lakh Only) shall be paid through the link https://rzp.io/l/oRBM5cqYNw," read the official notification.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility condition for admission of students under the Foreign Nationals Category shall be 65% marks in the Higher Secondary School Examination of (10+2) system or an equivalent examination.
"Note: Definition of Foreign Nationals: The candidate who possess citizenship of a country other than India and hold a valid passport of foreign country. Definition of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO): As notified by the Govt. of India," said the official notification.
"The University will refund the Counselling Fee of only those candidates, who have paid the counselling fee but could not find a place in the provisional merit list for admission due to higher cut-off. The University will be able to initiate the said refund in such case(s) only after August 5, 2022, or on the completion of the admission process whichever is earlier. The counselling fee will be refunded/remitted to the same account from which it was paid. No
requests of depositing it in any other account will be entertained," added the official notification.
