NLUD invites applications for research based Associates on contractual basis

National Law University, Delhi through Project 39A has invited applications for two posts of Associate (Research) on a contractual basis, read here to know more.

National Law University (NLU) Delhi has invited applications for two Associates (Research) on a contractual basis who will be responsible for designing as well as implementing research projects relating to death penalty sentencing at Project 39A along with undertaking other allied tasks.

The deadline to send the applications is midnight on June 14, 2022.

The notification reads, "Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email. If you do not hear from us within 4 weeks of the deadline, please assume that your application has not succeeded. Unfortunately, we

will not be able to reply to individual queries about the status of applications."

Project 39A Associate job responsibilities and qualifications required

The job responsibilities include undertaking fieldwork for the research purpose, engaging with various central and state agencies involved in the administration of the Indian criminal justice system, collating, analysing and publishing findings of the research, presenting the work of P39A at appropriate fora, participating in and contribute to the overall work at Project 39A, undertake administrative or any other work that may be necessary to further the aims of Project 39A.

To apply for the post, the candidate must have a degree in law and 0-2 years of experience, familiarity with criminal law and the Indian criminal justice system is a strong requirement and apart from English, proficiency in at least one Indian language is mandatory.
