RGNUL conducted Academic Quality Enhancement Workshop on February 4, 2023. The objective was to build and ensure a quality culture at RGNUL. The faculty members gave presentations and the event was presided over by Prof GS Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL.

RGNUL conducts Academic Quality Enhancement Workshop 

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law organised a one-day Academic Quality Enhancement Workshop on February 4, 2023. The main idea was to build and ensure a quality culture at RGNUL.

The workshop was presided over by Prof. G.S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, of RGNUL. Prof. Bajpai. He said, “Teaching is a mysterious experience. The quest of excellence must never end. We need to join hands to share challenges and lessons on strengthening teaching methods”. 

He further highlighted the importance of workshops and training programmes for the faculty members. He said, these workshops should be in line with the requisites of contemporary education and gave a detailed explanation of the vision of the University. He added that advanced Information and Communication Technology is required to achieve the goal of academic excellence, as reported by Live Law.

RGNUL's faculty discourse on Jan 31, 2023

A faculty discourse was held on the premises of RGNUL. The topic of the discourse was ‘India’s Soft Power in Kenya: A Ground Evaluation’. The speaker for the event was Mr Sourav Kumar, Assistant Professor of Political Science at RGNUL, and the discussants were Dr Gurmanpreet Kaur, Associate Professor of Law, and Mr Ankit Kaushik, Assistant Professor of Legal Research. 

Mr Kumar deliberated upon the elements of India’s soft power in Kenya from the vantage point of Kenyan citizens. Based on his field visit to Kenya as a part of his research initiative, he underscored the importance of culture, diaspora, Bollywood, capacity- building programmes in enhancing the soft power of India in Kenya. The session was chaired by Prof. Anand Pawar, Registrar, RGNUL and was moderated by Ms. Aditi Dubey, Assistant Professor of Political Science.
