RGNUL is all set to organise a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights and the Youth: Innovating for a Better Future on November 26, 2022.

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab is organising a workshop on November 26, 2022, on Intellectual Property Rights and the Youth: Innovating for a Better Future.

The last date to register is November 10, 2022, and the mode of the workshop will be online. The registration fee for students and researchers is INR 800 and for academicians and practitioners, it is INR 1000.

"This year the World Intellectual Property Day (WIPD) on April 26th has commemorated, awareness is raised about the vital role that IP rights play in fostering new ideas and inventive solutions. World Intellectual Property 2022 recognizes the huge potential of young people to find new and better solutions that supports the transition to a sustainable future. Across the globe, young people are stepping up to innovation challenges, using their energy and ingenuity, curiosity and creativity to steer a course towards a better future. Innovative, energetic and creative minds are helping to drive the changes we need to move to a more sustainable future," said the official statement.

"Young people can learn how intellectual property rights can help them achieve their goals, turn ideas into reality, generate income and create jobs. Today's youngsters represent a tremendously creative and innovative resource that has yet to be fully realized. Rethinking the way things are done is already taking place thanks to their new ideas and "can-do" attitude as well as their desire to see a brighter future. As IP and Youth: "Innovating for a Better Future" is the theme of this year's World Intellectual Property Day, which promotes youth-led innovation and creativity. In this backdrop, we, at RGNUL, Patiala are conducting workshop on Intellectual Property Rights and the Youth: Innovating for a Better Future," added the statement by RGNUL.
