SC Judge Justice MR Shah launches Research Hub and Spoke Model at HNLU

While launching the Research Hub and Spoke Model at Hidayatullah National Law University, Supreme Court Judge, Justice MR Shah commended the organogram and urged the faculty to strive for its success. Others who attended the event include - Justice Prashant K Mishra, Chief Justice, High Court of Andhra Pradesh and Justice Sanjay K Agarwal, Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh.

Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) has launched a new research programme. It has restructured and redesigned its research efforts in tune with contemporary priorities with its novel model christened as R-Has (Research - Hub and Spoke). Supreme Court Judge, Justice MR Shah has launched it and commended the organogram and urged the faculty to strive for its success.

The event marked the felicitation of the Justice for his three years of guidance and mentorship of HNLU as its EC member. The event was also graced by the presence of Justice Prashant K Mishra, Chief Justice, High Court of Andhra Pradesh and Justice Sanjay K Agarwal, Judge, High Court of Chhattisgarh.

Speaking about the R- HaS launch, Prof. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor sai,. “This is the first of its kind a comprehensive umbrella type research structure among the law schools which will catapult organized research for focused deliverables,” as reported by Live Law.

HNLU R-Has Details

R-Has comprises 5 hubs structured as School of Law & Technology, School of Law & Public Policy, School of Law and Humanities, School of Law and Business, and School of Law and Governance. Each school will have five centres of research.

The Research Cluster will hire Research Associates who will also have the option to enrol in PhD programmes.
