Admission to LLM (one-year course) at Symbiosis Law School  Nagpur is offered through Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT).

Symbiosis Law School Nagpur invited applications for admission to LLM (one-year course) programme. The last date to apply for the course is June 13, 2023.

The admission will be given on the basis of the Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT).

The eligibility requirement is a three or five-year LL.B. Degree from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade [45% for SC/ST Candidates]. Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B. examination may also apply.

AIAT will be conducted for all four institutes, i.e. SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad on June 25, 2023.

As per the notification, Online Home Proctored Test (AIAT) will comprise objective and subjective written tests to assess teaching aptitude, research aptitude, legal aptitude and basic legal knowledge. It includes questions from the following areas: Research Methodology, Legal Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, IPC, Public International Law, Human Rights, Corporate Law (Contract Act, Companies Act, etc.), Family Law and Environmental Law – (Weightage will be 70%).

30% weightage will be of personal interaction which is intended to test the Personal Attributes, Fitment, Work Experience, Publications, and Statement of Purpose of a candidate. It will be held between July 9 and July 10, 2023.

Selected candidates need to submit educational qualification documents as per the directions of SLS Nagpur/SIU. If any candidate fails to submit the documents at the time of verification and for eligibility purposes, admission of the same candidate stands cancelled. Selected students are instructed to retain the Entrance Test Admit card, PI Admit Card and the Provisional admission offer letter as they need to submit the same at the time of verification and for eligibility purposes.
