Lloyd Law College offers online certificate course

The Lloyd Law College is offering "State v. Personal Liberty" program for all the students of the institute. It is an online certificate course, on May 25 and May 27, 2022.

The course is designed to develop students' understanding of the competing interests at the intersection of state and individual liberty during the functioning of criminal justice system and evaluating the relevant evidentiary material. The students will understand the interplay between state and individual liberty during the functioning of criminal justice system, safeguards for individual liberty of accused and convicts during various stages of criminal proceeding and appreciate the principles of the Indian Evidence Act, and would be able to apply the interplay between state and individual liberty to preventive detention laws with a focus on general and special criminal legislations. 

State v. Personal Liberty course topics

The topics include individual liberty and criminal justice system, freedom of speech V. hate speech, fundamentals of evidence Act. 1872, the art of cross examination, individual liberty and wrongful prosecution and many such other topics.

On May 23, Lloyd Law College organized Legal Aid & Awareness Camp in Gram Panchayat Govindgarh, Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with District Panchayat Gautam buddha Nagar.
