M S University Placements 2022: More than 90 diploma engineers receive job offers

M S University Placements 2022: This year’s recruitment season at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (M S University) witnessed the placement of 90 Polytechnic students and the numbers are likely to cross 100. Polytechnic officials told TOI that more job opportunities are opening up for diploma engineers as the placement is being coordinated for final year students by training and placement cell. At M S University, the placement drive usually starts from the beginning of the sixth semester and continues for a year.

According to placement data for this year, a student of petrochemical technology, Karan S Patel, has bagged the highest salary package of INR 4 lakh per annum. Karan has been placed at Nayara Energy, Jamnagar. Three girls have been picked by Schneider Electric during the placement process, including two electrical engineering students Yukti Newad and Swati Prajapati, apart from a mechanical engineering student Priyanka Parmar. All three students have received an offer of INR 3.75 lakh per annum package.

Similarly, four mechanical engineering students, Rutanshu Parmar, Omkar Chetan Kale, Mayank Gidwani and Mudliyar Pramod Mrugesh have bagged job offers at Thermax Pune with a pay package of INR 3 lakh per annum package.

According to the officials, apart from these offers, Torrent Power, Voltas, Standard Radiator, Prism Johnson, Shivam Concrete, Caparo Engineering among others have also offered placements to M S University students. “The placement season is still on as L&T Power, L&T TS, Aditya Birla Insulator, Aditya Birla Power Composite, KYB Conmat, SRF Limited, Peroni Pumps, JCB Limited among others are in the process of conducting interviews,” the officials added.
