MP School Reopening: In view of the declining number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the Madhya Pradesh government has announced the reopening of schools for all classes with 100 percent capacity. Earlier, the government allowed school reopening with 50 percent capacity for Classes 1 to 5 and with 100 percent capacity for Classes 8, 10 and 12. The revised orders released by School Education Department states that the offline teaching and learning process can now commence along with other learning activities with 100 percent capacity for Classes 1 to 12. The government has also allowed residential schools and hostels to reopen with full capacity. However, parental consent is required to attend schools and stay at hostels.

Vaccination with both doses is a must for all school and hostel teachers, staff members. Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the state and central government to control the spread of COVID infection is a must for schools, students and all teaching and non-teaching staff members.

Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released examination schedule for Class 10, Class 12 board exams. According to MPBSE exam dates, MP Board Class 10 exams will commence on February 18 and Class 12 exams will begin on February 17, 2022.
