Medals and awards will be given to selected teachers and principals during the virtual felicitation ceremony by the state education minister Mr Inder Singh Parmar.

State Level Teachers' Honor 2020 program: Madhya Pradesh School Education Department is all set to felicitate the state’s teachers and principals today, i.e. April 6. The state will give recognition to those who have excelled in their respective educational fields and have adopted effective teaching methods. Medals and awards will be given to selected teachers and principals during the virtual felicitation ceremony by the state education minister Mr Inder Singh Parmar. According to the official schedule, the event will begin at 3 pm.

Considering the ongoing pandemic situation and surge in COVID-19 pandemic situation all across the country, the state decided to conduct the event via online mode. The faculty members will be joining via video conferencing. Meanwhile, the programme will also be live telecasted on official Facebook and Twitter pages of the Madhya Pradesh School Education Department.

The first, second and third winners of the online state-level educational seminar 2020 organized by the Directorate of Public Education will be honoured by giving certificates to two teachers in State Minister Parmar Bhopal. Certificates, shawls and honour amount of 25 thousand will be provided to teachers by the District Collector. Along with this, the principal of those schools whose exam results have reflected the progress in the past 3 years and the results of the last year have been 90 percent or more, will also be honoured.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh universities decided to hold their final-year examinations in the offline mode for all the undergraduate programmes. According to the media reports, Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav said that examinations for final-year students will be held with physical attendance at the exam centres. For now, the University has postponed the exams to make required arrangements with respect to the COVID-19 precautions. Meanwhile, the varsity decided that the examinations for the final year undergraduate and fourth-semester postgraduate students will be held in May.
