MAH MBA CET 2022 Live Updates Aug 24: Check Analysis, Question Paper, Answer Key, Cut Offs, Student Reactions & Reviews

MAH MBA CET 2022 result may be announced in the first week of September. However, the exact date of result declaration will be announced by the Maharashtra State CET Cell in the upcoming days. The MBA CET result will be available for download at the State Cell website.

Both the sessions of MAH MBA CET Day 2 were easy. The question were jumbled on Day 2 as well. QA and AR sections were easy, whereas LR and VARC were easy to moderate. Here’s an overview:

Given below are the MAH MBA CET cut offs 2021 for admission to top B-schools in Maharashtra. These are round 1 cut offs. 

MAH MBA CET 2022 exam on Day 2 was easy. The break up of the question paper was same as Day 1, i.e. maximum questions from Logical Reasoning and VARC. All the four sections  - LR, AR, VARC and Quantitative Aptitude were easy compared to last year's paper. As per initial analysis, about 160+ correct attempts can be considered a good attempt in today's paper.

The MAH MBA CET 2022, Day 2 is over. As per the initial analysis of the question papers today (session 1 and 2) , the exam was easy and in the same lines as yesterday's papers. The MBA CET 2022 scores of each candidates will be normalized for all the sessions to ensure that none of the candidate’s gets an advantage or disadvantage due to varied difficulty levels of the question papers. The scaled scores will be then converted to percentiles for preparation of merit list. The formula for MAH MBA CET Percentile score calculation is:

To calculate the Percentile Score in MAH MBA CET 2022, the marks obtained by every candidate are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0.

There are a total of 200 questions in MAH MBA CET 2022 and to score 99+ percentile candidates must aim about 170+ correct attempts. Candidates must choose the questions carefully and solve with 100 per cent accuracy to gain full marks.

The second session of day 2 MAH MBA CET 2022 has started at the designated examination centres. Number of candidates who appeared for session 1 and 2 of day 1, 2 and 3 will be released by the Maharashtra CET after August 25. The second session of today's exam will end at 4:30 PM.

Entry for session two of August 24 MAH MBA CET 2022 started at 1:00 PM at the designated examination centres across Maharashtra. Gates for student entry were closed at 1:30 PM. The second session of day 2 exam will start from 2:00 PM. 

Some of the topics from which questions have been asked in the VARC section of MAH MBA CET 2022 are Reading Comprehension, Fill in the Blanks, Word Replacement, Jumbled Paragraphs, Odd Sentence, Synonyms and Antonyms. There are 6 RC passages having about 25+ questions.

Some of the topics from which questions have been asked in the Quantitative Aptitude section of MAH MBA CET 2022 are Speed-Distance, Averages, Ratio-Proportion, Time & Work, mixture & Alligations, Percentages, Simple and Compound Interest, Geometry, Algebra, Probability, Line Chart, Data Table. This section is dominated by Arithmetic questions.

Some of the topics from which questions have been asked in Logical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning sections of MAH MBA CET 2022 are Sequence Completion, Analogies, Odd-Man Out, Matrix Arrangement, Linear Arrangement, Directions, Coding, Number Series, Family Tree, Selection Criteria and Circular Arrangement.

Both these sections have a good mix of sets and standalone questions.

Like the MAH MBA CET 2022 question papers of day 1 exam, the question paper of MAH CET MBA 2022 day 2, session 1 is also expected to be easy. The day 1 paper had easy LR, Quant and VARC sections were easy and AR was easy to moderate. Today's paper is will be on the same lines. 

MAH MBA CET is an MCQ based exam wherein there is no negative marking.

• One mark for correct attempt
• Zero mark for incorrect attempt and unattempted question
• No negative marking

Like yesterday's paper, today MAH MBA CET question paper too will have questions in jumbled format. in Logical Reasoning, there will be about 80-85 questions, in Abstract Reasoning, there will be about 25 questions, in Quantitative Ability, there will be about 45 questions and in VARC, there will be about 50 questions. 

Overall, the paper will be dominated by Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability.

The exam pattern of MAH MBA CET 2022 question paper of day 2 is the same as that of day 1. There will be 200 questions from LR, AR, Quantitative Aptitude and VARC in no particular order. Check the highlights below:

• Candidates must follow physical distancing at the exam centre.
• Must wear a mask at the examination centre and not remove it before leaving the building.
• If they have fever or COVID-19 like symptoms, they must not visit the exam centre or inform the test centre staff separately. 

The important guidelines that are to be followed at the exam centre is mentioned on candidate’s admit cards. Candidates must read the instructions before reaching the MAH MBA CET test centre to avoid hassles. Some of the key instructions are:

• Don’t carry electronic items, bags and purses.
• Don’t carry stationary other than blue or black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet.
• Don’t carry eatables. You can carry drinking water.
• Reach the examination centre on time and cooperate with the test centre staff in identification process.
• Carry two copies of MAH MBA CET 2022 admit card and an original copy of a photo ID such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, PAN card, Passport, Driving License, etc.
