Amravati reported the highest count among those who got caught using unfair methods while attempting Mah HSC Board Exams 2022.

Maharashtra HSC Board Exams 2022: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) commenced Mah 12th board exams for Higher Secondary Course (HSC) on Friday. With the commencement of the Class 12 board exams, the flying squad of the state education board has swung into action.

On the first day of Maharashtra 12th board exams 2022, a total of 30 cases of cheating were reported in the state. The places that reported the cheating cases to include 26 cases from Amravati and one case each from Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik and Latur, informed an official statement released by the state education board.

Amravati reported the highest count among those who got caught using unfair methods while attempting Mah HSC Board Exams 2022. The board is conducting offline exams for HSC students after a gap of two years as online exams were conducted last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

Commenced on March 4, Maharashtra HSC Board Exams will conclude on April 7. More than 14 lakh students have registered for the Class 12 Maharashtra Board Exams. In order to conduct exams in the state following the COVID-19 protocols, a total of 9,635 exam centres, including 2,996 main centres and 6,639 sub-centres, have been created. Earlier, Mah HSC papers scheduled on March 5 and March 7 were postponed to April 5 and April 7 following the incident of fire in a truck carrying questions papers in which all the question papers of alternate language subject were burnt.
