IIMC Entrance Exam 2023: Language Journalism Course Result Postponed, Check Details Here

IIMC Entrance Exam result of Language journalism courses has been postponed. Now the result for all the language journalism courses offered at Indian Institute of Mass Communication will be released on July 5, 2023. The result will be released in the form of merit list, Selected candidates will have to appear for counselling.

The IIMC Entrance Exam result for PG Diploma courses in Language Journalism is postponed. The result will now be declared on July 5, 2023. The result for language journalism courses has been postponed due to some administrative reasons. 'The result of the entrance examination for all PG Diploam courses in Language Journalism 2023-24 was to be declated on 30th June, but due to some administrative reasons, now the result will be declared by July 5, 2023', informs the official website. The IIMC result will be declared in the form of merit list. Selected candidates will have to appear for counselling and complete the formalities in the given time to confirm their admission.

How to check IIMC Entrance Exam Result?

Given below are the steps to check your results for the mass communication entrance exam:

Step 1: Visit the official page of IIMC or NTA in order to check the result of the IIMC 2023 entrance exam.

Step 2: On the official website of IIMC, the candidate has to click on the ‘Exam Result’ link which will be present in the News and Announcements section of the home page.

Step 3: On clicking on the ‘Exam Result’ link, the candidate will be directed to a new page on the browser.

Step 4: From there on, the candidate will have to enter the following details to login:

  • Date of Birth and Mobile number (OR)
  • Unique registration number

Step 5: On logging, the candidate can check the IIMC entrance exam 2023 results, which will contain the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for different courses such as - Odia Journalism, Malayalam Journalism, Marathi Journalism and Urdu Journalism.

Steps For Admission and Counselling

Candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps for online registration:

  • Candidates who have been allotted a seat will view the Seat allotment Result and Download the Provisional Allotment Letter.

  • Candidates will have to upload the essential documents after getting allocation. The list of documents contains Age Proof: Class 10 certificate or any other valid certificate will be Mandatory, Graduate or equivalent mark sheet or Undertaking: Mandatory, Admit Card: Mandatory, Category Certificate: Mandatory for SC/ST/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL. PwD Certificate: Mandatory of PwD Candidates. 

  • Candidates will be required to pay a stipulated amount as Admission Fee to confirm his/her allotted seat. In case, candidate doesn’t pay the required fee within the time frame, and then his/her allotted seat will be cancelled.
