IIMC To Hold 55th Convocation
IIMC Convocation: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) 55th Convocation ceremony is scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandap in Pragati Maidan on January 10, 2024. The event is set to begin at 10:00 AM. Shri Ram Nath Kovind, the former President of India, will grace the occasion as the chief guest, delivering the Convocation address.
Notable attendees will include Shri R Jagannathan, the Chairman of IIMC, and Dr. Anupama Bhatnagar, the Director General. The convocation ceremony will also witness the presence of IIMC faculty not only from its headquarters in New Delhi but also from its five regional centres located in Dhenkanal, Aizawl, Amravati, Kottayam, and Jammu.
At the Convocation ceremony, Post Graduate Diploma certificates will be conferred upon students from both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 batches of IIMC. This prestigious recognition extends to students not just from IIMC Delhi but also encompasses those from all its affiliated centers across various regions.
Additionally, a total of 65 students from these batches will be honoured with various medals, acknowledging their exceptional contributions and exemplary performances throughout their academic journeys at IIMC.
