Anna University has secured 69th position in the NIRF ranking 2024 for Management category. Out of 876 colleges that participated in the Management category, 100 colleges have secured a position in the NIRF MBA rankings 2024.

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, released NIRF ranking 2024 across categories, including Management, Law, Engineering, etc. As per the NIRF ranking for the Management category, Anna University secured a 69th spot. In the past two sessions, Anna University has been secured 49th spot in the NIRF ranking survey. MoE evaluates the position of the participating colleges across five different parameters.

Besides the Management stream, Anna University has been ranked at 14th spot under the Engineering stream category, at 10th position under Innovation category, and at 1st position in State Public University category.

A total of 876 institutes participated to compete for NIRF ranking 2024 under the Management stream. While 1463 institutes participated to compete for the Engineering category under NIRF 2024 ranking survey.

Anna University MBA Admissions through TANCET

Anna University has been securing a spot in the NIRF ranking since it started in 2016. This proves an advanced pedagogy of the institute and its acceptance by students for nearly a decade. Anna University accepts TANCET scores for MBA admissions. Candidates can appear for the exam, followed by a centralised counselling conducted by the Government College of Technology.

For admission to PG Engineering courses, Anna University accepts CEETA PG scores. More than 35,000 candidates register for the TANCET and CEETA PG exam collectively for MBA, MCA and MTech admissions.
