AU Admissions 2021: Andhra University to introduce two new management courses

Candidates interested in AU Admissions 2021 must note that now, going forward, the institute has decided to offer two new courses in logistics and supply chain management, namely BBA logistics and MBA logistics and supply chain management.

AU Admissions 2021: In order to launch an international integrated BBA-MBA programme, Andhra University had set up AU School of International Business in 2020. The course offered in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) –Visakhapatnam by AU has attracted students from nearly 20 countries across the globe. Candidates interested in AU Admissions 2021 must note that now, going forward, the institute has decided to offer two new courses in logistics and supply chain management, namely BBA logistics and MBA logistics and supply chain management.

AU will be offering MBA logistics and supply chain management that is going to be the first fully online academic programme offered by the varsity. The program has been developed considering the boom in online education. Talking about the newly launched course, Andhra University vice-chancellor professor PVGD Prasad Reddy told TOI that the BBA programme will be offered in association with the National Skill Development Corporation and Logistics Skill Council of the Union government. “On the other hand, the syllabus of the MBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management is designed by the armed forces. This completely online programme is for armed forces personnel and their dependents apart from the general public,” said professor Reddy.

In order to give students first-hand industry experience, the third year of the BBA Logistics programme will be completely devoted to the internship programme. Students will also get a monthly stipend of 9,000 INR. The classes of the MBA (logistics and supply chain management will be conducted from 6 pm to 9 pm.
