Badruka School of Management welcomes Founding Class of flagship PGDM

Badruka School of Management (BSM), Hyderabad, recently hosted a ceremonial orientation program for its inaugural PGDM class of the 2024-26 academic year. This event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new cohort, who will be part of the institute’s flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program known for its innovative and industry-focused curriculum.

The three-day orientation commenced at the BSM campus with a warm welcome from the BSM team. The event started with an address by the Dean, Dr Prabhu Aggarwal, who underscored the transformative power of education. “At BSM, we believe that education is the catalyst for personal and professional growth,” Dr Aggarwal stated. “We are committed to shaping the next generation of business leaders who can thrive in a rapidly changing world.”

Community-Focused Activities

Day 2 of the orientation was dedicated to community-building activities, including culture-building exercises and a tree plantation drive. The students engaged in a discourse on entrepreneurial ideas, reflecting the institute’s emphasis on innovation and sustainable development. These activities aimed to foster a sense of community and instill values of entrepreneurship and environmental responsibility.

The final day of the orientation featured sessions of self-reflection, case study discussions, and an exuberant gala night. Notable speakers included Dr Pramath Raj Sinha, Founding Dean of ISB Hyderabad, who shared valuable insights on leadership and the evolving landscape of management education. Industry leaders such as Mrinalini Shastry, Founder of Six Yard Plus and Vice President of Impact Partnerships at Rang De, and Nitin Kashyap, SVP and Head of Product at Samagra, also addressed the students, providing a glimpse into potential career pathways post-PGDM.

Encouraging Words from Key Figures

Sri Kishan Badruka, Secretary of the Badruka Educational Society, offered motivating words to the students. “As you begin this new chapter at BSM, remember that you are part of a community that believes in you and your potential,” Badruka said. “We are dedicated to creating an environment where you can grow, explore, and succeed.”
