The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will once again coordinate the CAT (Common Admission Test) for the year 2014, amidst the reports of score discrepancies. CAT is a national level management (MBA) entrance which is conducted by the six IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode and Indore) – together.
Professor Rohit Kapoor from IIM Indore continues to be the Convenor for CAT 2014.
“IIM-Indore will coordinate CAT 2014. We haven’t released any official notification yet. The details of the exam will be available later on,” said Professor Kapoor exclusively to Shiksha.com.
Professor Kapoor also confirmed that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will be the test-taking agency this year. On enquiring what special measures are being taken keeping in mind CAT 2013’s problems, he informed that the details are still being ironed out.
He refused to comment anything about the ongoing court cases against IIMs.
