CAT 2014 results postponed to fourth week of December

CAT 2014 results will hopefully be declared by the fourth week of December, 2014. The date of results will first be declared on the official website.

“CAT 2014 results date will first be declared on the official website. We are hoping to declare it on official CAT website latest by Monday or Tuesday,” said CAT 2014 convenor and IIM Indore Professor Rohit Kapoor.

“The results are a bit delayed this year. Last year we had declared it on January 14. It will not take that long,” he added.

According to CAT officials, there’s a lot of data that needs to be uploaded on the server, which is time-consuming. Post it, the server needs to be checked and re-checked so that it doesn’t malfunction on the day of results declaration. All this is taking time and hence the results are getting delayed, said the officials.

Once CAT 2014 results are out, candidates will start receiving calls from 13 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

CAT 2014 exam was held on November 16 and 22. CAT 2014 overall analysis. The results were expected to be declared in the third of December. Later, the date was extended to third or fourth week of December 2014.
