CAT 2024 application form correction process has started today. The form correction window was made live today at 10:00 am. Candidates who have registered for the exam can make changes in the application form. CAT 2024 application process started on August 1 and ended on September 20, 2024. The CAT form correction window will remain open for 3 days.
This activity is not mandatory and to be done only necessary. In the form correction process, candidates can edit a limited number of fields. There is no fee to be paid for this activity. The CAT form correction window will be open till September 30, 2024 during which candidates will be allowed to edit certain fields of the CAT application form 2024. They are:

- Signature
- Test City Preferences
How to Edit CAT Application Form 2024?
The option to edit the CAT application form 2024 is open for all registered candidate. To make changes in the already submitted CAT 2024 form, one has to log into their accounts. Check below:
- Open the CAT 2024 website: iimcat.ac.in
- Click on ‘login’ tab
- Enter User ID and password
- Click on ‘Application Form’ option
- Go to relevant section (photo, signature, test city) and edit it
- Enter CAPTCHA code and click on ‘continue’ to complete the process
Candidates must note that the CAT form correction 2024 is a one-time activity and one cannot seek to make edits more than once. CAT 2024 exam will be held on November 24, 2024 and the test centre will be allotted as per the preference selected in the CAT application form 2024. Thus, candidates should ensure their first city of preference is the city they can visit easily for appearing in the exam.

The CAT application fee is INR 2,500 for General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates. For the SC/SCT/PWD candidates, the fee is INR 1,250. Applicants have to pay the fee at the time of form filling. The application form is not accepted without the payment of fees. Candidates must also keep in mind that the CAT application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Thus, candidates must fill their forms carefully as if they make a mistake they will have to fill the application form again and pay the fees again. There is a provision of form correction in CAT but only test centre, photo and signature can be edited in the already submitted form. In case, you, ve made a mistake in any other field, you will have to fill the form again.
