CAT 2024 registration cum application process will end this week. Candidates who haven’t filled the form yet must do so before the deadline. The CAT 2024 registration last date is September 13, 2024. Application form is available at the iimcat.ac.in. To register for CAT 2024, candidates have to create a login ID. Those who have appeared for the exam previously are also required to create a fresh login ID.
CAT eligibility criteria is graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50 percent from a recognized university (45 percent for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Final year graduation students and professional degree holders equivalent to graduation are also eligible to appear for the CAT exam.
CAT 2024 will be conducted by IIM Calcutta in about 170 cities across India. The exam will be held on November 24, 2024 in three sessions. There is no change in the CAT syllabus or pattern. The test form will be same as previous year. CAT application fee is INR 2500. For Reserved category students, the fee is INR 1250.

CAT 2024 registration process is online and the form can be filled at the official website only. Check below the CAT 2024 registration cum application process:
- Go to CAT 2024 official website: iimcat.ac.in
- Click on 'new candidate registration'
- Enter name and other details to register
- Verify CAT 2024 registration with OTP received in email and phone number
- Go to CAT 2024 application form
- Enter personal and academic details
- Upload a passport size photo and scanned signature
- Select preferred IIMs, courses and test cities
- Pay CAT application fee via debit/credit card or netbanking
Candidates must note that they have to fill the CAT form and pay the fee before the deadline, which is September 13, 5:00 pm. Post that, neither the form will be accepted nor the fee payment will be allowed. Moreover, forms filled without fee payment will be cancelled.

No, the CAT application form can only be filled out online on the official website iimcat.ac.in. There is no option to submit the CAT form in offline mode. Candidates will have to create an account on the CAT website once the registrations begin and fill out the CAT form through that candidate account. Candidates must also note that no other website hosts the CAT form other than iimcat.ac.in
There is no provision of paying CAT fees in cash, challan or Demand Draft either. The CAT registration fee can be paid online only through Internet banking, credit/debit cards or mobile wallets only. The payment window will be available in the candidate dashboard as part of the CAT application form. Candidates have to simply follow the instructions to pay the fee. Candidates must note that fee payment is mandatory for CAT form filling. Until the fee is paid successfully, the form will not be accepted. Thus, candidates must check the fee payment acknowledgement slip after making the payment.
