Choose questions carefully: In a speed based test, the key is to choose the right question to answer. You should be able to judge which question you can solve in the least time. Go for the questions from your strength areas.

Do not make guess work: There is negative marking in CMAT, so don’t make guess work. If you don’t know the answer of the question, leave it. Marks will not be deducted for skipping the question.

Time yourself: There is no sectional time limit in CMAT, so you might overspend time on certain sections due to which the rest will suffer. Allot a certain time limit to each section and try to complete them accordingly. The on-screen timer will help you in this.

Attempt a good number of questions in all sections: For an overall good CMAT score and percentile, you need to have solved a good number of questions in every section.
