CMAT 2024 Exam Live Updates; Shift 1 and Shift 2 Question Paper Analysis, Answer Key, Cut Offs

Given below is the table indicating how much CMAT 2024 score will convert into how much percentile.

Official CMAT 2024 answer key is expected to be released in 2-3 days, most likely by May 19, 2024. NTA has not announced the official release date though.

The difficulty level of CMAT 2024 shift 2 was same as shift 1 so the number of good attempts is similar:

As per the initial reports coming in for CMAT 2024 shift 2, the difficulty level of shift 2 was same as shift 1, i.e. moderate. Detailed analysis to follow soon.

CMAT 2024 shift 2 is underway at various examination centres across India. The session will get over at 6:00 pm.  

CMAT 2024 shift 2, sectional difficulty level is expected to be:

• English: Easy
• Quantitative Aptitude: Moderate
• Logical Reasoning: Easy
• Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Easy
• General Knowledge: Moderate

The CMAT question paper 2024 shift 2 will have 100 questions. Here’s the break up:

CMAT 2024 shift 2 is expected to be moderate. The test structure and question type will be same as shift 1. There is usually not much difference between CMAT question papers in terms of difficulty level.

CMAT 2024 shift 2 has commenced at various test centres. Entry gates are closed and no entry is allowed at the venues until 6 pm. The second shift of CMAT 2024 is expected to have the same types of questions as asked in shift 1. 

GK had question on Lionel Messi, panchayat system, constitution day, civilization, ancient empires, kathakali, Asian Games 2026, green revolution, etc.

Some of the topics from which questions were asked in shift 1 of the CMAT 2024 exam include:

• One complicated quant set. There was one question each from geometry, algebra and speed time and distance
• Statement assumption question in Verbal section was grammarbased
• There were subject verb agreement questions too
• There was a question based on dice in the Logical Reasoning section
• There was a chocolate distribution question

In the first shift of the CMAT 2024 no surprise questions were reported. The exam pattern was same with 20 questions per section.

CMAT 2024 shift 2 will begin from 3:00 pm. Candidates who have been allotted the second slot have started to reach the test centres.

The quantitative aptitude section of CMAT 2024 shift 1 was moderate and the questions were of the usual type. There were a total of 20 questions and 16-17 questions will be considered a good attempt.

The language comprehension section of CMAT 2024 shift 1 was easy and the RC passages were of the usual type. There were a total of 20 questions in this section and 16-17 questions will be considered a good attempt.

CMAT 2024 exam is over now and as per initial reports the exam was of moderate difficulty level. There were no surprise questions in the exam.

CMAT 2024 Shift 1 will get over at 12:00 pm. There will be rest of 3 hours before Shift 2 of the exam begins.

Every section has 20 questions. It is no mandatory to solve all the questions, so candidates can choose to solve questions as per their strength areas.

CMAT 2024 answer key release date has not been shared by the NTA, but one can expect it to be released by May 19, 2024. The official CMAT answer key 2024 will be released along with candidate response sheet.

CMAT 2024 question paper is divided into 5 sections having equal number of questions:

CMAT exam difficulty level is expected to be moderate, if the NTA decides to not change the difficulty level from previous years.

CMAT 2024 Shift 1 will start at 9:00 am. The session will be conducted for 3 hours. There is no sectional time limit and bio break in CMAT. Candidates need to time themselves well for the 3-hour marathon.

Candidate identification process is underway and the test centre entry gates will close soon. After the  gates have been closed, no one will be allowed to enter the venue until the exam is over.  

CMAT 2024, Shift 1 candidates have started to reach their respective examination centres. The exam will commence at 9:00 am.

CMAT 2024 exam will be held today across India in two shifts. The first shift will begin at 9:00 am and the reporting time for it is 7:30 am.

There are over 1300 MBA colleges in India that accept CMAT score for admission. These include government as well as private colleges.

CMAT 2024 identification process includes document verification and frisking. Candidates must follow the process and cooperate with the test centre staff.

Candidates must carry at least two copied of their passport size photo to affix on the attendance sheet. They must preferably carry the same photo as they uploaded in the CMAT 2024 application form.

Candidates must carry two copies of CMAT 2024 admit card to their examination centre. Both copies will be signed and stamped by the authorities. One copy will have to be submitted at the test centre and one copy will have to be retained.

CMAT 2024 will be conducted at various NTA test centres, that are equipped with computer systems for candidates to take test on. Every candidate will be allotted one computer system to punch in their answers in the online test form.

• Candidates must refrain from wearing outfits with pockets.
• Cap and headgears are not allowed
• Metal accessories are also not allowed

• Reach your exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in your CMAT 2024 admit card
• Carry two copies of your CMAT 2024 admit card
• Carry two passport size photographs
• Carry a blue black ball point pen
• Complete your test on time
• There is no sectional time limit in CMAT, so time yourself well

• Do not carry phone, watch, calculator, earphone or any other electronic item
• Do not reach your test centre late
• Do not argue with CMAT test centre staff
• Do not carry stationary items like books, notebooks, rough sheets
• Do not carry bags and valuables

Apart from the CMAT admit card 2024, candidates need to carry any one of the following documents tomorrow:

• PAN card
• Driving Licence
• Voter ID
• Passport
• Aadhaar Card
• E-Aadhaar Card
• Ration Card
• Aadhaar Enrolment Number

This year, CMAT exam is being conducted in two slots. The first slot will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second slot will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Every candidate’s slot has been mentioned on their admit card.

CMAT 2024 exam is schedule tomorrow. Candidates who have still not downloaded their CMAT 2024 admit card must do so now, as digital copy will not be accepted at the test centre.
