CMAT 2015 September test has been scrapped by the AICTE. CMAT test will now take place in January 2016.
Speaking to Shiksha.com, an AICTE executive said, “No CMAT will take place in September this year. The next CMAT test will be held in January 2016. You can keep looking for more updates on the same at the official website of the exam from December 2015. The exam will be held in the first week of January 2016.”
An official notification stating the same will soon be released by AICTE authorities, informed sources.
CMAT was earlier held twice a year – September and February. Aspirants could choose to give both the exams and the best of the two scores were used for admission.
CMAT scores are accepted by various B-schools and management colleges across India for admission into MBA, PGDM and PGP courses.
Till February 2015, CMAT exam was held for 180 minutes. The test comprised of 100 questions divided in four sections:
• Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
• Logical Reasoning
• Language Comprehension
• General Awareness.
No information of changes in CMAT test pattern has been received so far.
