In a move aimed at strengthening its global presence and fostering cross-cultural academic exchanges, Great Lakes Institute of Management has formalized a strategic partnership with Pace University, a renowned U.S.-based educational institution. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in Great Lakes' efforts to enhance its internationalization initiatives and provide students with a global perspective.

Pace University’s Executive Leadership Visits Great Lakes Campus 

To commemorate this milestone, an executive leadership team from Pace University, led by Dr Marvin Krislov, President of Pace University, visited the Great Lakes Gurgaon campus. Dr Krislov highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating, “Pace University is honored to forge this partnership with Great Lakes Institute of Management, recognizing India’s growing influence as a global economic powerhouse and a hub of innovation. Through this alliance, we aim to bridge American and Indian academic strengths, creating opportunities for our students to engage with one of the world’s most dynamic markets. We look forward to fostering a rich exchange of ideas, cultures, and expertise, empowering our students to become globally-minded leaders ready to make a meaningful impact worldwide.”

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signed 

During the visit, an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed to formalize the partnership between the two institutions. The MOU outlines several key initiatives, including promoting student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research, joint projects, short-term programs, and industry engagements. These initiatives are designed to expand opportunities for both institutions, paving the way for academic and cultural collaborations.

Opening Avenues for Collaborative Research and Industry Engagement 

The partnership promises to open new avenues for collaboration between the academic communities of both institutions. It aims to enhance global exposure, enrich knowledge-sharing, and foster innovative practices across a wide range of disciplines. Yes, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai offers a two-year full-time PGDM programme. Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM programme at Great Lakes, Chennai must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate across class 10/ class 12/ under graduation. Also, candidates should have valid CAT/ GMAT/ XAT based on which they will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round.
