MICA is closing the MICAT 2023 registration window for phase I exam on November 19. Candidates must apply to appear for the exam on December 3.
Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, commenced the MICAT registration in the first week of October. As per the MICAT 2023 timeline, candidates are allowed to fill the and submit the application form by 11:50 PM on November 19. Candidates submitting the MICAT form post the deadline will be marked ineligible to appear for the phase I exam. However, candidates who miss the deadline for phase I exam will be allowed to submit the MICAT II application form from November 22. Last date to complete the MICAT II registration is set as January 16.

More About MICAT 2023 Exam
MICAT 2023 is being conducted for PGP admission in MICA for 2023-25 batch. Candidates holding a valid score in CAT 2022 / XAT 2023 / GMAT (2021 onwards) must appear for MICAT to participate in the MICA PGP admission process. MICAT comprises three sections; the first section is the Psychometric Test, which is a qualifier and will not have a weightage in the selection process; the second section will be a descriptive test; the third section will have four sub-sections, namely
- Divergent and Convergent Thinking
- Verbal Ability
- Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
- General Awareness
Candidates will be assessed for the third section if they meet the cutoff score of their normalised performance in the second section. Candidates are shortlisted for GE and PI based on their performance in national-level MBA entrance exams and MICAT. The final merit list for admission will be prepared by allocating specified weights to CAT/XAT/GMAT, MICAT and GE/PI performance.
