IILM Lodhi Road appoints Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi as Director General

The Institute of Integrated Learning in Management University (IILM) Lodhi Road has appointed Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi as its new Director General, heralding a new era of leadership and academic stewardship. Dr Chaturvedi brings with him over 47 years of distinguished experience in higher education, encompassing teaching, research, policy formulation, and institutional management.

Academic Achievements and Leadership Roles

Dr Chaturvedi’s illustrious career includes pivotal roles such as Professor and Director at the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) in Greater Noida, a Category-1 institution accredited by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Under his leadership, BIMTECH attained prestigious accreditations from national and international bodies, including AACSB.

Advocacy and Institutional Contributions

Beyond his academic roles, Dr Chaturvedi is a founding member and Executive President of the Education Promotion Society of India (EPSI), advocating for private higher education institutions nationwide. EPSI, under his guidance, has earned recognition from the Ministry of Education and various regulatory bodies for its significant contributions to the sector.

Dr Chaturvedi’s academic journey began at Agra University, where he earned his Master’s degree in Commerce (M Com) and PhD. in Business Management. His career commenced in 1977 at Raja Balwant Singh College, Agra, and later saw significant contributions at the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), where he played a pivotal role in shaping policies and establishing the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for engineering and management education in India.
