IIM Kashipur Convocation 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kashipur conducted the 11th convocation ceremony. The institute conferred degrees to a total of 438 students. A communique from the institute said that among those who passed out were eighty-three students of the first batch of Executive MBA Analytics. The chief guest for the event was CEO, KPMG India, Yezdi Nagporewalla.
During the 11th convocation of IIM Kashipur, 438 students were awarded degrees across various programms, with CEO of KPMG India, Yazdi Nagporewalla, distributing medals to top performers. Nagporewalla's inspiring words emphasised the significance of education and the values it instills, urging graduates to embrace challenges and strive for bigger goals. Noteworthy was the inaugural batch of Executive MBA Analytics, where 83 students, including 16 females, received degrees, reflecting a surge in female enrollment across programs.
The first batch of Executive MBA Analytics conferred with degrees. As many as 83 students of the first EMBAA cohort will receive their degrees; of them, 16 are female. The average work experience of the batch was 9.16 years, while one participant had more than 20 Years of work experience.
The institute, offering a spectrum of courses and online programs, has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years, with a significant rise in female representation. Chairman Sandeep Singh highlighted the institution's commitment to academic excellence and inclusivity, while Director Professor Kulbhushan Balooni lauded the faculty's research endeavors and collaborations, showcasing IIM Kashipur's dedication to societal impact. The convocation also recognised exceptional academic achievements, with medals and Director's Merit List distinctions.
This success culminated in IIM Kashipur securing 19th place in the NIRF 2023 rankings, solidifying its position as a leading institution in management education and innovation.

The institute witnessed the conferment of degrees upon 438 students at its 11th convocation. During the ceremony, 232 graduating cohorts received MBA degrees, 87 from MBA Analytics degrees, 83 from EMBAA degrees, and 21 from Executive MBA degrees. 15 scholars from the Doctoral Programme also received their degrees.
IIM Kashipur is,lately, witnessing exponential growth in terms of female students across all programs. In the 2019-21 batch, IIM Kashipur recorded 11% female students, while in the 2021-23 batch, it surged to 30 percent.
