MAH MBA CET 2023 rescheduled

Maharashtra State CET cell has today announced the change of re-test date for MBA CET 2023. Earlier, the re-examination was to be held on April 27 but as per the latest official notification, it will be held on April 30, 2023. The registration window which was supposed to close on April 11 will now close on April 14, 2023.

The State CET Cell had on April 5 announced that it will conduct the MAH MBA CET 2023 exam once again due to technical glitches that occurred during the exam on March 25 and 26 at many test centres. Many students had complained of technical issues at the test centre because of which they could not complete their paper. The test screen of non-PWD candidates showed 180 minutes while the total time of the exam was 150 minutes. At many centres, exam didn’t start until 6 pm due to technical issues.

Following the complaints, the State CET set up an enquiry committee to probe the issue. On the basis of the enquiry committee report, the examination body decided to conduct the MBA CET 2023 again.

In an official notification released by the Maharashtra State CET Cell said, “According to the MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2023 for A.Y. 2023-24 was conducted on 25th & 26th March 2023 at 191 centres in Maharashtra and some other states as per the schedule declared on CET Cell web portal. On account of complaints received by the CET Cell about some candidates getting less than mandatory examination time due to various technical issues during the above said examination and also some candidates other than those belonging to the PWD category getting 180 minutes instead of mandatory 150 minutes in the said examination, the CET Cell instituted an Enquiry Committee to look into all such complaints about the examination. On the basis of the Enquiry Committee Report, the CET Cell has decided to hold re-examination of:

  1. Candidates who could not complete the examination due to technical issues within mandatory examination time and who wish to reappear for the examination and
  2. Candidates other than those belonging to the PWD category who got examination time of 180 minutes instead of mandatory 150 minutes. It may be noted that the earlier examination of such candidates who got examination time of 180 minutes instead of mandatory 150 minutes due to a technical issues stands cancelled.” The list of these candidates is separately published on this website. These candidates will not be required to apply again.
