Now that MAT May 2022 phase exams are over, AIMA will announce the schedule of MAT August-September phase exams. It will be the third phase of MAT exam for the year 2022. Once the dates are announced MAT registration process will also begin. The MAT registration cum application process is online and the form is available at the AIMA-MAT website.
Registration process and application form of MAT IBT, PBT and CBT are common. Candidates are only required to select the mode of exam in the application form. Usually, in every phase MAT PBT and CBT are conducted once and IBT is conducted on five to six days, but in 2022, MAT PBT and CBT are being conducted in twice in a particular exam phase.
Candidates can apply for one session or multiple sessions as per their preference. Those who have already appeared for MAT in February-March or May, can appear again to improve their score. For admission, institutes will consider score of the latest attempt.

MAT Eligibility Criteria
Given below is the main eligibility criteria for MAT exam:
- Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university
- There is no minimum marks requirement in graduation
- Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for MAT
- Candidates possessing a professional degree such as CA, CSor ICWA can also apply
MAT Registration Process 2022
MAT registration cum application process is online. Given below are the steps to follow to fill the MAT application form 2022:
- Open AIMA-MAT website
- Click on “Fresh Candidate to create Log In” tab
- Enter name, date of birth, email ID, mobile phone number and a password to register
- Fill the MAT exam application form with relevant information
- Select preferred test mode (CBT, PBT, IBT), test cities and five B-Schools
- Upload a recent passport size photo and scanned signature
- Make fee payment via debit/credit card, net banking or e-wallet to complete the process
