CAT 2022 exam was conducted yesterday. If you haven’t performed in the test as per your expectation, don’t take too much stress. Your MBA dream is not over for the 2023 academic session yet. You can still get admission to a good MBA college on the basis of other entrance exams.
The MBA admission season begins with CAT exam. It is followed by other MBA entrance exams such as SNAP, IIFT, XAT, MAT and CMAT. Those who haven’t fared well in CAT 2022 must now focus on these exams so that they can perform well in them and secure a seat in a good MBA college of choice.
Here are Top 5 Upcoming MBA Entrance Exams to Focus
SNAP 2022
The SNAP 2022 exam is scheduled on December 10, 18 and 23. Candidates can make two attempts. Most of you would have registered for SNAP and must be preparing for it. Since the first attempt of SNAP is less than a fortnight away. Take your mind off CAT 2022 and focus on SNAP 2022 as its score is valid for admission to all SIU institutes.
SNAP is a much easier test in which you have to solve only 60 questions in 60 minutes. There is no RC in the English section so it is easier to complete the paper in the given time.
IIFT Entrance Exam 2023
IIFT 2023 for MBA International Business will be held on December 18. IIFT is a moderately tough entrance exam. Now that CAT 2022 is over, focus on IIFT 2023 in these three weeks. All you need to do is revise the important chapters and practice previous year question papers for exam centric preparation.
IIFT score is accepted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade only. The institute has launched MBA in Business Analytics for 2023 session admission for which is based on IIFT entrance exam score.
MAT 2022
MAT December 2022 exams will begin soon. Those who have registered for December phase exams, must shift their focus from CAT to MAT. Conducted by AIMA, MAT is an easy exam and accepted by over 700 B-Schools in India. Those who plan to pursue MBA from private institute, MAT is the most suitable exam to take. MAT exam will be held in February 2023 too, so candidates can opt for that too.
XAT 2023
XAT 2023 exam is scheduled for January 8 so candidates still have over one month to prepare. XAT is a moderately difficult exam and can be cracked if one has thoroughly understood the key concepts.
XAT is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur and is accepted by about 800 B-schools in India. The preparation for XAT is slightly different from CAT as it has Decision Making section which is unique. XAT also has GK section, thus candidate have to work extra hard for XAT. However, since more than a month is remaining for the XAT 2023, candidates can prepare for it well.
CMAT 2023
CMAT is the second most popular MBA entrance exam in India after the CAT. It is accepted by over 1300 B-Schools in India and of easy to moderate difficulty level. What makes CMAT a popular option among MBA aspirants is that it is accepted by not only private institutes but government institutes as well.
CMAT 2023 will be held in March-April so there’s enough time to prepare. Aspirants must start CMAT preparation right away to crack it with high scores.
