Purnea University MBA programme receives government's recognition

Purnea University MBA Admissions: The state education department of Bihar has finally accorded recognition to the MBA course of Purnea University. This job-oriented management programme was introduced in the 2019-20 session at Purnea University. The students of the varsity had been awaiting the government clearance for publication of their examination results.

Announcing recognition of the varsity’s management course, in an official letter to the Purnea University, the higher education director of Bihar, Rekha Kumari said the MBA course has been recognized by the government and the university may now publish the results of the examinations conducted for this course.

Purnea University started MBA without obtaining permission

According to TOI, Purnea University in Bihar had commenced the management course without obtaining the necessary permission from the state government. The varsity faced issues when the education department came to know about it.

MBA Results for the first batch not published

The university was also directed to stop from continuing with the master's in business administration course. Hence, the results of the MBA examination of students of the first batch of this course were not being published, said sources.

Now, the state government has given recognition to the MBA course. The university has been allowed to impart the master in business administration course with a strength of 40 seats in an academic session. Students admitted to the course more than three sessions back have heaved a sigh of relief as their results would be published now, said the university's media in-charge Gauri Kant Jha.
