SPPU’s School of Open and Distance Learning (SOL) is dedicated to making higher education more accessible to a wide range of individuals, including working professionals, homemakers, senior citizens, and those residing in remote locations. This initiative aligns with the goals set by the National Education Policy to increase the gross enrollment ratio in higher education across India.

SPPU MBA Admission 2025 Eligibility 

To be eligible for admission, applicants must have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for backward classes, economically weaker sections, and persons with disabilities in Maharashtra). Admission will be based on a merit list, which will be determined by the scores from an online entrance examination conducted by SPPU.

Key Details of the Entrance Examination:

• Syllabus: Same as the regular MBA entrance test.
• Pattern: 50 questions, each worth 2 marks, with no negative marking.

Fee Structure and Course Highlights

The total first-year MBA admission fee is ₹33,430 for students from Maharashtra universities and ₹35,230 for those from outside Maharashtra. This fee covers registration, tuition, study materials, and examination fees.

The two-year MBA program consists of 110 credits and includes:

• Core subjects in management, marketing, human resources, and finance.
• Electives in business analytics, digital marketing, and tourism management.
• A mandatory MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) worth 10 credits.
• Project work in the third and fourth semesters.

Students can also choose from a wide range of major and minor specializations such as Marketing Management, Project Management, and Pharma & Healthcare Management.

Assessments and Passing Criteria

The assessment structure includes internal evaluations by study centers and end-semester exams in a traditional pen-and-paper format. To pass any subject, students must score at least 40% in both internal and end-semester evaluations.
