TS ICET 2024 Exam Day Statistics: 89.8% Attendance in June 5 (AN Shift)

Kakatiya University conducted two shifts on the first day of TS ICET 2024 exam. Several sources reported a turnout of 89.8 per cent of candidates in the second shift of first day of the state level MBA exam.

On the first day of the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2024, around 89.8 per cent of registered candidates took the state level MBA exam in the AN shift. The exam was conducted in two shifts on June 5th across four test zones in Andhra Pradesh and 16 test zones in Telangana. There were a total of 116 test centres where 90.2 per cent candidates appeared for the exam in Telangana, while the turnout in Andhra Pradesh remained at 79.3 per cent.

A total of 25,086 candidates appeared for the exam out of the registered 27,801 in Telangana exam centres. Andhra Pradesh saw a turnout of 896 candidates out of the registered 1,130. The attendance data for the second day of the exam (June 6th) is yet to be released.

Out of the total candidates, test takers who secure a minimum score of 25 per cent will be qualified for the counselling process. For reserved category candidates, there is no qualifying score. While the Telangana MBA admission will be based on the TS ICET cutoff determined by different factors.

This year, more than 86,000 candidates are believed to have registered for the MBA/MCA entrance exam. In the last session, TS ICET 2023, a total of 75,932 applied for the entrance exam. Out of the total candidates, 70,900 appeared, and 61,092 qualified for the Telangana MBA counselling process.
