To cater to the diverse needs of IAF personnel and their families, UPES Online will offer a range of courses including MBA, BBA, BCA, Post Graduate Program (PGP), and certificate courses.

UPES has signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Indian Air Force (IAF). These agreements aim to offer a wide array of educational programs to the wards and spouses of IAF personnel, catering to serving, retired, disabled, or deceased members.

Expanding Academic Horizons: Programs Offered

Under the MoUs, UPES will reserve seats and provide scholarships of up to 30% for students enrolling in full-time undergraduate programs. These programs include BBA, BTech, LLB, BSc (Hons), BA, and BA (Hons), with scholarships awarded based on performance in Class 12 exams, CUET, or JEE.

Tailored PhD Programs for IAF Officers

UPES will also introduce part-time PhD programs specifically designed for IAF Officers. These programs will focus on critical research areas such as Aviation, Aeronautics, Engineering, Management, Science and Technology, Legal Studies, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management, aligning with the educational and research priorities of the Indian Air Force.

Digital Learning Initiatives: UPES Online

To cater to the diverse needs of IAF personnel and their families, UPES Online will offer a range of courses including MBA, BBA, BCA, Post Graduate Program (PGP), and certificate courses. As part of this initiative, participants will benefit from a 20% fee waiver and a 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria, making quality education more accessible. UPES Online ensures a seamless learning experience through live online classes and recorded sessions.

Signing of the MoU

The MoU was formalized in the presence of Air Vice-Marshal Rajeev Sharma, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Education), and Manish Madaan, Registrar and Director of Training & Placements at UPES. Senior officials from both the Air Force and UPES witnessed the signing, underscoring the commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for IAF personnel and their families.

Dr Sunil Rai, President of UPES, expressed his congratulations on this significant occasion. He highlighted UPES's commitment to fostering future leaders through innovative, multidisciplinary education. The university's holistic approach ensures that graduates are equipped not only with academic excellence but also with the skills and mindset to thrive in a rapidly changing global landscape and make meaningful contributions to society.

Pioneering Education for a Dynamic Future

UPES's collaboration with the Indian Air Force signifies a bold step towards pioneering education tailored to meet the needs of defense personnel and their families. By providing robust academic programs, scholarships, and digital learning solutions, UPES reaffirms its dedication to nurturing talent and empowering individuals to excel in their chosen fields.
