Exam date of Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT, a common entrance test conducted by Xavier School of Management, Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) – Jamshedpur for admission to its MBA programmes, has been announced. The exam is scheduled to take place on January 7, 2018.

The XAT 2018 registration process has been extended till December 15, 2017. Earlier, the last date to receive applications was November 30, 2017. But now the date has been extended and aspirants can apply with payment of late fee.

Candidates who have registered on or before November 30 can make the payment online and offline without late fee till December 15, 2017. For registration between December 1 and 15, 2017 late fee is applicable.

The candidates who haven't applied till now must hurry and fill the online form available on the official website.

XAT 2018 will be held on January 7 between 10 am and 1:30 pm.

The national level exam is a gateway to more than 100 B-schools across India. The pen and paper mode exam has moved to online format this year and will held in about 50 cities across the country as well as in Dubai and Kathmandu.

Application process:

  • To apply for XAT 2018, log on to the official website and click on register to create a new account. On successful registration the candidate will receive XAT ID and registration link in the email used to create the account.
  • By clicking on the registration link, the candidate will be given the option to create his/her own password. This password and XAT ID is to be used for all future login purposes.
  • The candidate will be required to enter all the relevant information, select programme and test city, upload a recent passport size photo and signature, provide educational record and details of work experience

After filling the application form, the candidate will have to pay the application fee.

Online payment gateway:

Through Visa/Master debit/credit card (American Express card is not valid) or IDBI net banking

Cash payment:

The candidate will have to take a print out of the XAT Pay-In-Slip from the official website and visit the nearest IDBI bank and make the payment.

The candidate must update payment details on the registration page as soon as the payment is done.

Demand Draft:

A demand draft, drawn in favour of XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT, payable at Jamshedpur should be mailed to “The Chairperson Admission, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur- 831001”, along with a print out of the application form submission confirmation page.

Application fee:

Application fee for XAT is Rs 1650 for all. Candidates who want to apply to XLRI programmes will be required to pay an additional fee of Rs 300 for each programme.
