XAT 2023 LIVE UPDATES

XAT exam 2023, the top MBA entrance exam for XLRI Jamshedpur and other 800 colleges is being held today at 79 cities across India. The test is being held in computer based mode and about 98,000 candidates will be appearing for it.

XAT 2023 exam was of moderate difficulty level. The XAT question paper 2023 had five sections - Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, General Knowledge and Essay Writing. The main focus of candidates should be on Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation as GK scores are not taken into consideration for percentile calculation and the essay is evaluated only if the candidate is shortlisted for GD/PI round of XLRI. Check out XAT 2023 review and question paper analysis here.

XAT 2023 Essay Writing topics were:

  • Risk Management
  • People with lower IQ make more money
  • Decarbonisation

XAT is a speed based test and time management is key. Those who have already appeared for CAT 2022, SNAP 2022 and IIFT 2023, will have a practice of speed-based tests. Like CAT, XAT too has sectional time limit and candidates have to stick to that. Once the time is over for a particular section, the screen will automatically move to another section, so candidates need to make sure they solve the required number of questions within the time limit.

XAT 2023 Question Paper Pattern and Structure

  • All the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) included five options with one correct option.
  • The XAT question paper 2023 had about 105 questions.
  • The XAT 2023 question paper consisted of three parts:
