AACCC to Announce AYUSH 2024 Counselling Dates Soon; Eligibility Criteria, Documents Required
NEET 2024 AYUSH counselling will be conducted by AACCC for the allotment of 15% All India Quota seats. The AYUSH counselling 2024 will be conducted for a total of 52,720 seats in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BSMS courses.
Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) will begin the AYUSH counselling 2024 shortly for admission to undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. The authorities will conduct AYUSH 2024 counselling for 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats.
What is AYUSH Counselling?
The NEET 2024 AYUSH counselling will tentatively be conducted in three rounds for admission to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BSMS courses. Moreover, the mop-round AYUSH counselling 2024 will be conducted for deemed/central universities and private colleges. The counselling for a total of 52,720 seats will be conducted for different courses of Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy and Siddha.
Eligibility Criteria for AYUSH Counselling 2024
Students have to fulfil the following AYUSH counselling 2024 eligibility criteria in order to be considered for admission:
- The applicant must have qualified NEET 2024 exam
- The applicant must be at least 17 years old.
- Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects.
Documents Required for AYUSH Counselling 2024
Students have to keep the following documents ready for AYUSH counselling 2024:
- Passport-sized photographs,
- NEET 2024 admit card
- NEET 2024 scorecard
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/PAN/Driving Licence/Passport)
- Provisional Allotment Letter (downloaded from the official website of NTA NEET)
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Any other documents as prescribed by the authorities
What Happened to Vacant Seats after Last Round of AYUSH Counselling?
In case any seat remains vacant after the final round of AYUSH counselling, the same shall be transferred to the respective states. The vacant seats become a part of seat matrix of the respective state.
