Academic council meeting held at National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur

Academic agendas were placed before the Academic Council during a meeting held at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur and these agendas were approved after discussion.

National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur has notified that Prof Sanjeev Sharma Director cum VC chaired the Academic council meeting today where academic agendas were placed before the council and were approved after discussion.

National Institute of Ayurveda tweet reads, "Prof Sanjeev Sharma Director cum VC (I/c) @NIAJaipur chaired the Academic council meeting held at NIA-DU campus. Academic agendas were placed before the council and were approved after discussion"

"Second BOM meeting @Niajaipur Deemed to be University was held in the chairmanship of Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Director & VC(I/C). Sh P. K. Pathak, Special Secretary @moayush graced the meeting with his presence. @PIBAYUSH," said another tweet.

Recently, a workshop on Hindi was organized at the National Institute of Ayurveda, where former Director of Doordarshan Kendra Mr Nand Bhardwaj and Assistant Acharya of Hindi Department of Kendriya Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya Dr Preeti Sharma presented their statements in the workshop.

About National Institute of Ayurveda

It is an apex autonomous institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India for promoting the growth and development of Ayurveda. It was established in 1976. 

The institute has 14 specialities for post-graduate education as well as regular fellowship program leading to PhD. Apart from this, there is also an undergraduate course (BAMS), diploma course in AYUSH Nursing & Pharmacy and various other certificate courses.
