AIIA launches Ayurveda Day 2022 program today
All India Institute of Ayurveda launched the Ayurveda Day 2022 program today at a hybrid event.
All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) under the aegis of the Ministry of Ayush has today launched the Ayurveda Day 2022 program which will encompass a series of events under the theme ‘Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda’. The six-week-long programme will run from September 12 to October 23, 2022.
During the curtain razor program of Ayurveda Day organized today, Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that the programs to be organized in the next 6 weeks are very important. We should make the public aware of holistic health.
"A plan should be made to disseminate information related to Ayurveda to all. By connecting every ministry of the Government of India with these programmes, we request everyone to achieve our goals. This will help our India to become healthy and strong," he added.
Multiple Ayurveda courses for students, says Ministry of Ayush
"Known as 'science of life, Ayurveda tackles ailments using a natural, holistic and comprehensive approach. Students interested in pursuing a career in Ayurveda can choose from multiple courses offered by top institutes," said the Ministry of Ayush.
The courses were discussed under SPARK a national fellowship programme for Ayurvedic undergraduate students launched by Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences. Dr Radhe Krishan and Dr Adarsh Kumar discussed about SPARK today.
Ministry of Ayush encourages Ayush solutions for malnutrition, mental health
Recently, the ministry encouraged the use of Ayush solutions for the prevention of malnutrition-related ailments. The ministry also advised establishing Nutri-gardens as nutrient-rich plants are a key to combating the issue of malnutrition. Ayush solutions can be used to treat anaemia, and improve digestion and mental health problems and psychological symptoms faced by the general public due to Long COVID.
