Efforts have been underway for quite some time to finalize this agreement, and discussions have been held on various aspects of it several times. On Tuesday the final seal was placed on this agreement.

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the the All India Institute of Ayurveda and SoUADTGA- Statue Of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority . 

Dr. Anantraman Sharma, MS, from the All India Institute of Ayurveda, and Mr. Agreshvar Vyas, DCF, from SOUADTGA, signed the MOU. At this event, Mr. Mukesh Puri, Additional Chief Secretary and Chairman of Gujarat, along with Mr. Udit Agrawal, CEO, and Professor (Dr.) Tanuja Nesari, Director of AIIA, were in attendance. Dr. Prashant and other senior faculty members of AIIA were also present.

According to this agreement, now people in Ekta nagar , Gujarat, will have access to Ayurvedic treatment facilities. This will not only benefit the local residents but also a large number of domestic and international tourists who visit this area will also benefit from the various facilities of Ayurveda and Panchakarma therapy.

It is noteworthy that around the Statue of Unity, the world's largest statue, there are many attractions in tourist places, including the Tent City, theme-based parks such as Arogya Van (Herbal Garden), Butterfly Garden, Cactus Garden, Vishwa Van, Flower Valley (Bharat Van), Unity Glow Garden, Children's Nutrition Park, Jungle Safari (Modern Zoo), and more. Similarly, the All India Institute of Ayurveda has become quite popular among people as a leading institution of Ayurveda in the world in a relatively short period. In the last six years, more than fifteen lakh patients have benefited from AIIA.
