AIIMS Bhubaneswar hiring contractual staff in ICMR funded project

Eligible candidates are invited to attend the interview on February 16, 2023, for the post of Technician in the ICMR-funded extramural project at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The recruitment will be purely on a contract basis for the project “Setting up of registry for renal complications in Indian children with Sickle Cell Disease: The Indian Sickle Cell Nephropathy (ISN) Consortium”.

All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar announced vacancy for Technician in the extramural research project ICMR funded “Setting up of registry for renal complications in Indian children with Sickle Cell Disease: The Indian Sickle Cell Nephropathy (ISN) Consortium” under Dr Sonali Mohapatra, Principal Investigator and Associate Professor, Department of Medical Oncology/Haematology, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.

The essential qualification needed is B.Sc.(MLT)/ BSc with DMLT/B.Sc.(Biotechnology) and the desirable qualification is a one-year experience in a biochemistry laboratory, candidates with hands-on experience in HPLC, and biochemistry tests shall be preferred.

The age limit is 30 years and emoluments is INR 18,800 per month with a 10% increment in the second year. The position is purely temporary and renewable depending on the funding for the project and the job requires sample collection, sample transfer and managing bio-repository.

The initial duration of the post will be one year and based on the performance in the first year, the appointment could be extended till the end of the project or the duration of the project whichever is earlier.
