AIIMS Bibinagar celebrates its third foundation day

AIIMS Bibinagar's third foundation day celebration 

All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) Bibinagar celebrated its third foundation day by organizing CME and hands-on workshop on “Insight into life at Cellular Level: Single Cell Genomics and Digital Droplet PCR” on March 24 and March 25, 2023.

"Under the guidance of Prof Dr Vikas Bhatia Executive Director Dept of Biochemistry, AIIMS Bibinagar celebrated it's Third Foundation Day by organizing a CME and hands-on workshop on “Insight into life at Cellular Level: Single Cell Genomics and Digital Droplet PCR,” tweeted AIIMS Bibinagar.

Prof (Dr.) Vikas Bhatia, Executive Director, of the Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS Bibinagar appreciated the rapid growth of the Biochemistry Dept in terms of the clinical lab services, research and undergraduate and post-graduate teaching in the last 3 years. Currently, the department is catering for more than 30,000 clinical lab investigations every month and has 22 funded ongoing projects and over 40 research publications to its credit.

Dr Shyam S Chauhan, Professor & Head, Dept of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Chief guest for the event delivered a keynote address on “Cancer Epigenetics”. Dr Pragnya Ranganathan, Head, Dept of Medical Genetics, Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, presented a guest lecture on “Role of advanced genetic testing in clinical practice”.
