The application cut-off date for receiving a soft copy is February 10, 2024. AIIMS, Deoghar is going to conduct Interviews for Indian nationals/ persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955.

AIIMS Deoghar invited applications for various faculty posts on Direct Recruitment/On Deputation Basis in various departments of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar (Jharkhand).  

The upper Age Limit shall be counted on the last date of submission of application i.e. cut-off date February 10, 2024. The cut-off date for receiving soft copy of application is February 10, 2024, and cut-off date for receiving hard copy is February 17, 2024.

The posts are available for Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor.

"If suitable candidate(s) is/are not found for posts of Additional Professor/Associate Professor, lower cadre in their respective category as advertised may also fill up these posts. For example, lower cadre (i.e. Assistant Professor) in UR category can fill post of Associate Professor (UR) in Department of Cardiology. Therefore, candidates having eligibility for lower cadre may also apply in department where post in higher cadre is advertised. In case the advertised post is filled with the lower cadre, the selected candidate will join on the post of lower cadre and not on the advertised post," reads the official notification.

Educational Qualifications for Non-Medical Candidates (as applicable)-

1. Master’s degree in concerned specialty.

i. Anatomy: -M.Sc. (only in Medical Anatomy)

ii. Biochemistry: -M.Sc. (only in Medical Biochemistry)

iii. Physiology: M.Sc. (only in Medical Physiology)

iv. Pharmacology: M.Sc. (only in Medical Pharmacology)

v. Microbiology: M.Sc. (only in Medical Microbiology)

2. A doctorate degree from a recognized university.
