AIIMS Guwahati to hire Junior Research Fellows and Yoga Instructor
PM Modi is all set to inaugurate AIIMS Guwahati on April 14. The institute is currently looking to hire a Junior Research fellow and Yoga Instructor (for an ICMR-DHR-funded Extramural project). There are two posts available for a Junior Research fellow and one for Yoga Instructor.
All India Institute Of Medical Science Guwahati is hiring two Junior Research fellows and a Yoga Instructor for the ICMR-DHR-funded Extramural project.
"Online applications are invited from eligible candidates to attend Interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Yoga instructor on purely contractual basis in the extramural research project titled “Assessment of heat stress and its impact on the physiological and biochemical markers of heat strain- A novel approach for predicting heat strain among factory workers in North East India" sanctioned to Dr S. Krishnan, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology, AIIMS, Guwahati-781101., as Principal Investigator under Grant-in-aid Scheme of the Department of Health Research Govt. of India," reads AIIMS Guwahati's notification.
The essential qualification needed for Junior Research Fellow is Msc (Medical Physiology/Biochemistry) orBsc/ Msc (Environmental sciences, Occupational health) or Msc MLT or B Tech (Biomedical Engineering) or equivalent degree in life sciences/social sciences from a recognized University with at least one year relevant experience in the collection of data/fieldwork.
For the Yoga Instructor post, the required qualification is 12th pass in science subjects with a certificate course in Yoga therapy from a recognized University.
The eligible candidates must send the duly filled application form along with a certificate of age, qualification, and experience to the email id aiimsghyphydhr1961@gmail.com (all documents merged as a single PDF file in same order as given above) on or before April 15, 2023, 5 pm.
The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on AIIMS Guwahati website before the interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The interview will be conducted on the last week of April and the exact date will be intimated later.
