AIIMS Guwahati will organise an exclusive program for PG students -"Resident Oriented Training in Pediatric Neurology (ROTIP)" on June 4. This extensive course covers almost everything expected in the practical exam in a neurology case.

Dept of Pediatrics, AIIMS Guwahati & IAP Assam State Branch is organizing an exclusive program for PG students "Resident Oriented Training in Pediatric Neurology (ROTIP)" on June 4. This extensive course covers almost everything expected in the practical exam in a neurology case.

This exam-oriented workshop is suitable for paediatric postgraduate residents who will be appearing in their final exams. This workshop intends to revise the basic facts that are expected from students in neurological case discussions.

This workshop will have didactic lectures and group work with a focus on clinical examination and clinical cases that are commonly asked in exams. These exam-oriented sessions are expected to focus on highlights of history, examination, and key differentials of common clinical cases allotted to MD/DNB Pediatrics in their final practical exams.

The seats are limited to 40 only (first come first serve basis). The target audience is final-year MD/DNB paediatrics students.

Also, Professor Ashok Puranik Executive Director of AIIMS Guwahati was a part of the 5th Rozgar Mela in Guwahati where Union Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal ceremonially presented the offer of appointment to 33 Nursing Officers of AIIMS Guwahati.

Microbiology laboratory services at AIIMS Guwahati were inaugurated by Exec. Director, Prof. Ashok Puranik on May 15. This was followed by 1st AIIMS Guwahati Microbiology meet. Dr Jayanta Biswas Sarma and Mr Kalyanjit Hatibarauh delivered expert talks on 'AI in Healthcare'.

Offices of the Society for Antimicrobial stewardship practice in India (SASPI) Northeast Regional Centre and Northeast Clinical Excellence Foundation were also inaugurated at the Department of Microbiology, AIIMS Guwahati.
