AIIMS INI CET 2023: Exam Centres in Manipur Shifted to Guwahati
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) shifted the INI CET 2023 exam centre in Manipur to Guwahati. The AIIMS INI CET 2023 exam will be held as per schedule which on 7 May 2023. Read the article for complete details.
As per the AIIMS official notice, “Under the unavoidable evolving situation the following examination centre at Manipur (MN0101, MN0201 and MN 0202) has been shifted to new examination centre at Guwahati, Assam for the INCET July 2023 entrance examination scheduled on Sunday, May 7, 2023."This change in exam centre is in view of the violence in tribal areas in Manipur where over 9,000 people have been evacuated so far. Notice also mentions that the Candidates must note that the conducting body has asked them to download a fresh admit card and report to the newly allotted exam centre as per the schedule. This is for those candidates who previously had an exam centre in Manipur.
INI CET 2023 exam will be held on Sunday, May 7 for July session. The exam will be held in single shift at 129 test cities across country. AIIMS INI CET 2023 will begin at 9 am and conclude at 12 pm. The reporting time for the exam is 7 am. Candidates will not be permitted inside examination hall after 8: 30 am. Candidates are advised to carry admit card and other important documents including photo identity proof to the exam centre.
AIIMS INI CET 2023 Admit Card: Steps to Download
The institute has asked candidates that previously had an exam centre in Manipur, to download a fresh admit card and report to the newly allotted exam centre as per the schedule.

INI CET July 2023 will be held online as a computer-based test (CBT). The INICET 2023 exam duration will be three hours (180 minutes). The question paper will consist of objective types of questions of varying types which will include single correct-choice and multiple correct-choice questions.
INI CET is the abbreviation for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi conducts the entrance test for admission to PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh). INI CET scores are valid for admission to 15 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. With effect from 2021, all these institutes admit PG students on the basis of the marks obtained in the INI CET exam only.
