AIIMS Nagpur has announced to conduct the fifth-semester exam for the 2019 MBBS batch from February 7 to 12 in an offline mode, the students are demanding to postpone the exams or conduct it in online mode.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur, has decided to conduct the semester examination in an offline mode between February 7 to 12 and the students have been demanding to postpone the semester exams or conduct it in online mode.

All India Medical Students' Association (AIMSA) has tagged the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Mansukh Mandaviya, and wrote on Twitter, “We, the 2nd year students of AIIMS Nagpur request to hear our concern, we were told that everything will be online till 15th of February, now suddenly we are having offline exams from 7th of February. We request for postponement of exams or online exams.”

AIMSA has shared an AIIMS Nagpur notice of Jan 10, that says, "With the approval of the Director & as per orders from Maharashtra Government due to the Covid pandemic, the classes for the MBBS students will be held in online mode and clinical postings are suspended from January 10, 2022, to February 15, 2022." However, now, AIIMS Nagpur has decided to conduct the fifth-semester exam for the 2019 MBBS batch from February 7 to 12, 2022.

AIIMS Nagpur is one of the four institutes that were announced in the Budget Speech 2014 and it was established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) in 2018.
