AIIMS Nagpur to hire faculty members; Last date to apply is March 6
AIIMS Nagpur has invited applications for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor latest by March 6, 2023. One opening is for Professor (ST) is in Hospital Administration, one for Associate Professor (ST) in Paediatric Surgery, and one for Assistant Professor (OBC) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Applications are invited by the Director, AIIMS, Nagpur from Indian nationals/persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 for Professor (ST) in Hospital Administration, Associate Professor (ST) in Paediatric Surgery, and one Assistant Professor (OBC) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The last date to apply for the posts is March 6, 2023.
Relaxation of one-year Teaching/Research experience for SC/ST candidates in faculty selection will be given as per Rules/Guidelines issued by DoPT.
For professors, candidates can apply in any of the following modes of recruitment, if vacancies are available:- Direct Recruitment, Deputation basis, or Contract basis (Retired faculty). The remuneration will be INR 2,20,000 per month. For Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, candidates can only apply on Direct Recruitment basis.
Eligibility Criteria
For Professor, the requirement is a medical qualification included in the I or II schedules or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act, a post-graduate qualification e.g. MD in Hospital Administration or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto or a master’s in Hospital Administration from an MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For Associate Professor, a medical qualification included in the I or II schedules or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act, a post-graduate qualification i.e., M.S in Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
For Assistant Professors a medical qualification included in the I or II schedules or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act, a post-graduate qualification i.e., M/D M.S in Obstetrics & Gynecology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
