AIIMS Patna Executive Director assigned as ED of AIIMS Gorakhpur

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Gopal Krushna Pal has been given additional charge of the post of Executive Director of AIIMS Gorakhpur. Hence, he will also be the ED of AIIMS Gorakhpur along with AIIMS Patna for a period of six months. 

AIIMS Patna's office order in this regard reads, "With the approval of Hon'ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare, additional charge of the post of Executive Director, AIIMS Gorakhpur, is assigned to Dr GK Pal, Executive Director, AIIMS Patna, for a period of 6 months with immediate effect or till the regular appointment to the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, without any additional remuneration."

Moreover, at AIIMS Patna, Prof. (Dr.) Prem Kumar Dean (Research) is appointed as Acting Dean (Academics) up to January 31, 2024.

The official notice in this regard said, "With approval of the Competent Authority, Prof. (Dr.) Prem Kumar with effect from January 1, 2024, Dean (Research) is hereby appointed as Acting Dean (Academics) of the institute up to January 31, 2024, or till the appointment of Dean (Academics) whichever is earlier, Prof. (Dr.) Umesh Kumar Bhadani is hereby relieved from the post of Dean (Academics) on the closing hours of December 31, 2023."

AIIMS Patna: More Updates

AIIMS Patna will send medicines to its rural center Naubatpur Referral Hospital by drone between January 18 and 20 and will get pathological samples from there for testing. Health Secretary cum Executive Director of State Health Committee, Sanjay Kumar Singh has directed Civil Surgeon Patna on Friday to make all preparations in Naubatpur Hospital, as reported by inextlive.
